  18. <p>     Burying communism in the Soviet Union is proving more
  19. difficult every day. A Soviet newspaper reports that the state
  20. funeral agency in Orel, an agricultural center south of Moscow,
  21. has stopped making coffins because of a wood shortage. The
  22. local plant, however, will accommodate those who supply their
  23. own wood for a departed loved one. Porch planks and fence posts
  24. are preferred. One local worker helpfully suggests that "all
  25. who intend to leave this world wait a little bit."
